Many people believe that Buddhism is about donning a robe and giving up all the fun things in life, but, as Buddhist Master Lama Ole Nydahl says "lucky for society, more people want to experience life's richness, to have families and be productive. These are the lay people, living and taking responsibilities in the world for the benefit of many".

It is these people that Lama Ole really speaks to and connects with. While he has no orange robe, what Lama Ole does have is a depth of knowledge, dynamic teachings and experience of tried and tested Buddhist methods to share.

Join us on Tuesday March 20 at 7:30pm at BMW Edge, Federation Square for an exciting and informative lecture on how Buddhism in the West can enrich your life, and the lives of your friends and family.

The entrance fee is $25 / $23 Concession.

About Lama Ole Nydahl

After spending years studying Buddhist teachings and meditation practices, Danish-born Lama Ole Nydahl and his wife Hannah were authorized by their teachers to make Diamond Way Buddhism accessible to the Western world.

Since 1972 they have founded about six hundred Buddhist Centres worldwide. With directness and humour, Lama Ole Nydahl shows the spontaneous freshness of resting in one’s mind.

Diamond Way Buddhism represents the most widespread approach to practicing Buddhism outside the traditionally Buddhist countries today. It mainly focuses on meditation and transmission of knowledge from teacher to student, and especially emphasizes personal responsibility.
