At the request of H.H. the 17th Karmapa Trinlay Thaye Dorje, Diamond Way Buddhist centres around Australia have started reciting the mantra of compassion – om mani peme hung.
In a letter to all Kagyu students, H.H. asked that every dharma centre in the world recite the mantra of Loving Eyes (Chenrezig), the Buddha of compassion (shown at left), one million times, and dedicate the merit to the recent victims of natural disasters, and for the benefit of all beings.
Australian Diamond Way centres will be adding sessions of Loving Eyes meditation & mantra recitation to their schedules over the next weeks and months. This activity will be shared by all of the over 600 Diamond Way Buddhist centres around the world.
