Join us for the first public lecture given by the recently (re)formed Brisbane Diamond Way Buddhist Group. Richard will give an overview of different meditation practices and lead meditation sessions for a first hand taste of what Buddhist meditation is.

Richard has a solid understanding of the Kagyu teachings of Tibetan Buddhism. He was a founding member of Canberra center in 1997 and took refuge as a Buddhist in 1998. He completed an Arts/Science Degree at the Australian National University where he studied philosophy and computer science. He spent his holidays in India to do his foundational practices (Ngondro). Since meeting his wife in 2001, he has spent time in Europe travelling with his teacher, Lama Ole Nydahl, visiting centres and teaching in Australia, New Zealand and Italy. At present he works in the Web Industry and lives in Brisbane with his wife Michelle and their young son.
