In the early evening of Thursday, 11th March, almost 400 people gathered in Sydney University’s Great Hall to hear a group of highly respected professors and one of the most accomplished Western teachers of Tibetan Buddhism, Lama Ole Nydahl, explore the age-old question... What Is Mind?

Ros Childs (ABC presenter of the Midday Report) facilitated a lively panel discussion between Lama Ole Nydahl (Karma Kagyu Lineage), Professor Marc Cohen (Complementary Medicine), Adjunct Professor Tim Sharp (Psychology) and Raymond Younis (Philosophy).

Following the panel discussion, Lama Ole Nydahl provided further insights into Buddha’s teachings. The event will be long remembered and may set precedence for an annual panel discussion to take place each time Lama Ole visits Australia.
