Please join us for four special sessions with international Buddhist teacher Gretchen Newmark. Gretchen will be speaking about how Buddhism can enhance the lives of busy people, and how you can learn to meditate to find more happiness and freedom.

During this session Gretchen will be talking about Buddhism; what it is and why it's useful, in particular she will be discussing Diamond Way Buddhist methods and meditations.

How to work with Emotions from a Buddhist perspective - Part 1

Gretchen will be giving some information and Buddhist methods about how to work with the 5 core emotions of anger, attachment, ignorance, jealousy and pride.

During this session Gretchen will be talking about how to make every moment an extension of your daily meditation practice.

After meditating for many years and experiencing teachers and methods from different Buddhist traditions, Gretchen met Lama Ole Nydahl in 1996 and co-founded the Portland Diamond Way Buddhist Center two months later. She has been teaching in Diamond Way centers since 2006.
