Mahamudra House is the home of Diamond Way Buddhism Canberra.
We offer meditation sessions Monday to Friday at 8pm. On Monday nights there is a short introductory talk and meditation explanations before the meditation. The meditation sessions run for half an hour.
We also hold meditation weekends for the Foundational Practices (Ngöndro) on the first full weekend of each month.
Buddhist teaching and meditation courses are held regularly throughout the year. As a group we also share numerous social activities.

Monday, Nov. 30th, 2009 South Coast Retreat
Members of the Canberra and Sydney centre gathered at 'The Pines' at Tuross Heads on the south coast for a weekend retreat on November 27 to 29. Chris and Alisa organised a great weekend with lots of meditation sessions, teachings and group cooking sessions - all still with plenty of time to enjoy the beach. This was the first retreat we've done at Tuross Heads and everyone enjoyed so much we're going to do it again next year.
Monday, Nov. 9th, 2009 Cate Walker teaching in Canberra
On November 6 and 7 Cate Walker from the Perth Diamond Way Centre visited Canberra and gave teachings at Mahamudra House. Cate shared her experience from studying at the Karmapa International Buddhist Institute (KIBI) in New Dehli, India. Her teachings were a combination of intuitive inspiration with the traditional Buddhist academic structure. A great time was had by all and a few of us wanted to get our our books and study.
