Buddhist Meditation in Fremantle at the Diamond Way Buddhism Centre Perth

Perth Diamond Way Buddhist Centre is located in the heart of Fremantle and meets twice a week on Mondays and Wednesdays. Doors open at 7.45pm with the main program beginning  at 8pm. The centre is graced to have many experienced practitioners with a number of the local students having completed the Ngondro practice. Currently the members of the centre are actively looking to purchase their own dedicated centre. Whether you are new to Buddhism or have meditated before, you are welcome to come along and practice with us. Our experienced students will happily answer any questions you may have. All meditations are provided on a donation basis.

Tuesday, Nov. 10th, 2009 Fremantle Buddhist Spring Fair 2009

Sunday November 8th 2009 saw the 1st inaugural Buddhist Spring Festival held on the Esplanade, Fremantle. This to-be annual event is run under the auspices of the Buddhist Council of WA (BCWA) and organised by a committee drawn from many of the Perth Buddhist groups. In 2008, the majority of Buddhist organizations from Perth drew together and ran a fund raising food fair in aid of the Burma cyclone appeal and raised around $60 000. This financial success and the fun we all had prompted the idea to make it an annual happening.
